Who is “Zulu” and why are directors heaping praise upon him like Purple Hearts at a veterans’ convention? Shawn Levy, who has done four films with him, says he is one of the best ADs in the world, period. “On Night at the Museum 2, he trained all our military henchmen. We’re talking everything from Russian Streltsy fi ghters to Napoleonic guards to Pharaoh’s foot soldiers, which completely freed me up to focus on the comedic bits. ‘Set general’ is a clichéd term, but in Zulu’s case it fits.”
